What exactly is ProtectTires?

A permanent sealant installed inside the tire through the valve stem. It stays in the tire for its whole life, and when the tread is punctured it seals the hole as it happens, so the tire holds its air and keeps driving.

How long does the install take?

Under a minute a tire. The wheel stays on the vehicle and the tire stays mounted, so a full car is done in minutes.

How long does it last?

For the life of the tire. There is nothing to top up or reapply.

Will it work on my vehicle?

Yes for cars, SUVs, crossovers, pickups and vans, including hybrids and EVs, on any tire size.

What does it not cover?

It seals punctures in the tread, which is where nails and screws go. Sidewall damage, blowouts and large cuts are not punctures, and those tires still need replacing. It prevents up to 90% of punctures from becoming flats.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Installs can be paired with a carrier-backed tire warranty. Mobile customers choose a term when they book. Dealers offer 1 and 5 year terms through the F&I office.
